Board of Directors – Lucas Chambers
Lucas Chambers joined the U.S. Army shortly after 9/11/2001 and was assigned to the 101 st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky from 2002-2007, and served two tours in Iraq training Iraqi police. During his second tour he was wounded by shrapnel in a grenade explosion sustaining injuries to the leg. After recovering from the shrapnel wounds, he broke the same leg while on patrol and was then medevac’d to Germany for surgery. After the Army, Luke went to trade school for welding and now works for the Air Force as a civilian. Luke lives in Alabama with his family on their family’s farm. Luke has completed the Warfighter Scuba program and has seen firsthand the impact that scuba diving can have on the stresses that so many veterans face, and is looking forward to helping get more vets in the water so they can experience the peace and tranquility scuba diving offers.
